Darkstar Laser Placed Under ‘Quarantine’ Part of Halloween Zombiefest

Darkstar Laser is daring the North West to venture into its spine-tingling arena as part of its eerie Halloween adventure.

The award-winning venue located in St Helens, is set to host a duo of devilish events as the ultimate laser arena is placed under ‘Quarantine’ between Friday, October 28 – Monday, October 31.

Suitable for both families and valiant visitors alike, the ‘Halloween Zombiefest’ will include themed games, unlimited laser tag, a live action horror arena and prizes for the best costumes to name a few.

Director of Darkstar Laser Lynn Ben-Yousef said: “Year on year, Halloween time is one of our favourite occasions, and this year our offering is more nerve-racking than ever before. As Darkstar Laser is placed under ‘Quarantine’, our arena becomes an abandoned space station which, until recently, has been safe and secure from unwanted zombie guests – but not for long.

“While we know that Halloween can be a great family-friendly occasion, we certainly don’t want to spook our younger visitors too much, so on Friday October 28 we will be hosting our themed horror arena without any unwanted zombies for those wanting all of the fun and not so much fright. For our braver guests who dare to venture into the darkest recesses of the arena, from Saturday, October 29 – Monday, October 31, our live action interactive horror arena will be in full swing with themed games and zombie hunts.”

Located on Central Street, Darkstar Laser is the UK’s largest indoor laser tag venue, allowing guests aged seven and above to compete against up to 40 players in its 13,000 sq. ft. multi-hex arena.

Lynn added: “Throughout the Halloween events, our guests’ bravery will be rewarded with exclusive drink deals, a free pizza buffet and a selection of exciting prizes for those who don the best costume. We’re looking forward to marking the spectacularly spooky occasion with an action-packed experience with a terrifying twist!”

Each event will take place from 7pm-11pm between Friday, October 28 and Monday, October 31. Friday evening will be a family-friendly event for those aged seven and above while between Saturday-Monday, players must be aged 12 and above.

Advanced tickets cost £15.00, tickets on-the-door will cost £18.00 and non-player tickets (including pizza buffet, no games) is priced at £5.00.
