Birdies Bar Ready To Welcome In The Summer Following Cains Brewery Takeover

Birdies Bar has officially celebrated its new look in style serving up more than 6,000 cocktails in its first four days of opening.

The much-loved hotspot has doubled in size at its Cains Brewery Village home and offers a revamped image, complete with additional dining, drinking and live entertainment space spanning 8,000 sq. ft.

With an all new cocktail menu and a delicious BBQ menu courtesy of in-house street food vendor Apocalypse Cow, the venue promises to be bigger and better than ever before with the addition of a second outdoor bar and a large capacity indoor seating area within the former On Air/Home Alone bar.

Owner of Birdies Bar Kip Piper said: “We are incredibly excited to unveil Birdies Bar for another year. This venue has always been a popular destination in the Baltic Triangle thanks to its relaxed atmosphere and innovative food and drinks offering but we’ve gone one step further and created a seamless, multi-purpose space that can be enjoyed any time of year whether it’s for a few weekend tipples or a private function. What’s more, our creative team has worked tirelessly to build a number of additions such as our 22-foot palm trees, made by hand in our warehouse from rubber and metal to bring a tropical vibe to our outdoor area all year long.

“As part of our plans to make Birdies Bar the biggest bar in the Baltic Triangle, we have also taken over On Air to create Birdies Live Room whilst the former car park is now operating as an additional outside bar, appropriately named Birdies Summer Garden along with our original Birdies Bar area. As part of our plans for expansion, we wanted to really showcase the brand and so we’ve also introduced an exciting, vibrant logo that reflects the fun, fresh and relaxed environment we’re trying to create.”

Birdies Bar & BBQ was first established in 2016 by owners Kip Piper and Danny Bolger who are the local Liverpool duo behind popular venues Ghetto Golf and The Brunch Club.

Owner Danny Bolger added: “We’ve had a lot of fun reinventing Birdies Bar, creating one fluid space that boasts three unique but complementary areas. The inspiration behind the rebrand came from our vision of creating a resort right here in Cains Brewery. The space is not only a real sun trap but the perfect haven to while away an evening late into the night with friends, family or colleagues, accompanied by live music and drinks.

“Boasting an impressive stage and state of the art sound system, the indoor area makes the ideal location for events and live entertainment and pairs up perfectly with our outdoor festival inspired space which includes the likes of beanbags and booths for an informal yet quirky vibe that suits the area perfectly.”
