The Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia returns on 25th + 26th September 2015 within the warehouses and recesses of Camp and Furnace, Blade Factory and District, in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle.

Headlined by pysch heavyweights Spiritualized the group’s performance at PZYK 2015 comes ahead of the release of the band’s eighth LP later this year.

This year the Baltic Triangle festival site will benefit from an additional performance space, with District joining the existing complex of warehouses across Camp and Furnace and the Blade Factory. Organisers are also planning a wide expansion of the PZYK Gallery and Village – which were successfully introduced in 2014 – plus the festival’s trademark world of scintillating artist curation from across the PZYK cosmos, DJs, label curations, installations and audiovisual explorations.

The lineup for the weekend also includes Factory Floor, The Heads and Hookworms, who are also joined by Jacco Gardner, Jane Weaver, K-X-P, Joel Gion, Karen Gwyer, Dengue Fever,Carlton Melton, Indian Jewelry, Lumerians and Black Devil Disco Club, plus a kaleidoscopic swarm of worldly noise-makers.

Organizers are also thrilled to announce that Brian Jonestown Massacre trailblazer Anton Newcombe will be the festival’s first Artist In Residence. A full programme of Anton’s activities over the festival weekend will be announced in the coming weeks.

Another of the neo-Psych scene’s finest imprints Cardinal Fuzz will be making the trip to the Baltic triangle, to present Cardinal Fuzz Sonic Attack, a curation of artists from their fabulous drone-laden roster.

The 2015 edition follows last year’s sold-out and critically lauded installment of the festival, which saw Liverpool Psych Fest being named ‘Best Small Festival’ at the 2015 NME Awards.

Weekend tickets on sale now, priced just £60. You can buy these online here – and weekend tickets are also available in store at Probe Records (Liverpool), Piccadilly Records (Manchester) and Jumbo Records (Leeds).
