September has some brilliant events lined up. Here’s are run down of the top ten things to do.
- Liverpool Pirate Festival – The annual Liverpool Pirate Festival at the Albert Dock returns with two days of swashbuckling fun on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September. More info here.
- Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia – This year’s big names include Super Furry Animals, The Horrors, The Wythces, Eagulls, Silver Apples and The Stairs. With four stages of music across two days at Camp & Furnace. This year also features PZYK PRYZM; an immersive area, located within a standalone warehouse space, housing and experimental AV environment that will play host to large-scale audiovisual installations, a limited set of exclusive live performances and three newly commissioned virtual reality artworks. 23rd & 24th September. - Liverpool Noise Presents; Darma, SPQR and Elijah James & The Nightmares at The Brink – Every so often we host our own events and this is a special one down at the Brink on Parr Street. We have the dulcet tones of Elijah James & The Nightmares, alt-rock excellence in the shape of SPQR and masters of grunge, Darma. It’s all for a good cause are we host in the Brink – a dry bar, all profits from the night will go to Action on Addiction. 17th September. Tickets here
- Liverpool Food & Drink Festival – This hugely popular Sefton Park festival is back again showcasing some of the best bars and restaurants in the city. There will be plenty of choice to keep the whole family pleased. 17th & 18th September. Tickets here.
- Fusion Festival – A brand new pop festival heads down to Otterspool Prom featuring Jason Derulo and Tinie Tempah along with a host of local musicians including LUMEN and Louis Berry adding to the line up. 3rd & 4th September. Tickets here.
- Pretty Green Weekender in Association with Bido Lito – A weekend of live music, acoustic performances and DJ sets. Join Pretty Green and Bido Lito! for three days of the best in new music on Merseyside at Upper Blade Factory (joined to Camp and Furnace). 2nd-4th September. Free Entry.
- Hip Hop Karaoke at The Merchant – Think you can rap? Prove it. The Merchant bar (Slater Street) will be doing karaoke with a twist. Free Entry 9pm tip Late. 24th September
- St George’s Hall Beer Festival 29th September – 200+ Real ales & ciders, continental bottled beers & wines, local food stalls and entertainment; what more could you want?. Tickets here.
- The World Transformed at The Black-E 24th September #TWT2016 is four days of Politics, Art, Culture & Community events hosted by Momentum at Labour Party Conference Fringe. Free Entry, more info here.
- Independent Liverpool Oktoberfest – The Great Baltic Warehouse will be getting an Oktoberfest transformation to celebrate a German tradition in style. Expect some of the finest German beers alongside Liverpool’s best brewers and plenty of wieners thrown in for good measure. 22nd – 25th September. Tickets Here.
