Liverpool will soon have it’s very own outdoor cinema for a summer of viewing pleasure. Secret Garden Cinema is the brainchild of former LJMU students Gemma Morrow and Nicola Green. After moving to London to take up graduate schemes the pair where surrounded by the capital’s vibrant social scene and unique events taking place week after week.
Now both girls are back in Liverpool they used this inspiration to create something unique for our city in the form of the Secret Garden Cinema. It will be Liverpool’s first premium outdoor rooftop cinema, providing a unique location with Liverpool’s skyline as the backdrop.
Secret Garden Cinema will be located on the rooftop of Queens Square car park and held Thursday-Saturday from July-September. On the last Friday of every month they will be holding a ‘Viewer’s Choice Evening’ where guests will get to decide the choice of film. This will be an interactive experience with guests voting on social media pages and the most popular will be shown.
Secret Garden Cinema will also be holding exclusive film showings are secret venues across the city throughout the year where the locations will be revealed on the day of the event.
