Liverpool Festival for 80,000 Announced For May Bank Holiday

Records will be set on May Bank Holiday 2016 with a festival announced for 80,000 guests to be held at Aintree Racecourse Liverpool. We Luv Festival will be the first festival event focused predominantly on families.

The colossal family-oriented event will be held in Liverpool at the Aintree Racecourse on 28th and 29th May 2016. With over 80,000 visitors expected to attend over two days and over thirty artists set to perform across two stages, ‘We Luv Festival’ will put Liverpool firmly on the map as a festival destination, bringing a family focused festival of music and entertainment to the city. The event will be the largest music festival staged in the North West, featuring a host of music stars.

The Family Fun Festivals Company, the organisation behind We Luv Festival are delighted to host the event which is a brand new and unique festival concept. The festival will offer tickets from the competitive price point of just £35 making it more inclusive than other music festivals and children under 6 will attend for free whilst students will enjoy discounted ticket prices.

Younger guests will enjoy interactive sports activities, face painting and plenty more family fun. The event aims to completely shake up the festival scene with a brand new approach centred on making them family friendly with a line up featuring well known music stars to appeal to all ages.

Some of the headlining artists already confirmed for the event include UB40, Fatman Scoop, Professor Green, Arrested Development, Example and DJ Wire, Radio Riddler, Scouting For Girls, Alexander O’Neal, William Singe, Fuse ODG, Sugar Hill Gang, Louisa Johnson and Reggie and Bollie. More huge names are yet to be announced for the festival which will be the family event of the year and Liverpool star Rebecca Ferguson will also make a sensational return to the stage during the two day event.

Charity partners to the festival include Claire House, Alder Hey, LFC Foundation, Cash 4 Kids and Everton in the Community. There will be on site parking for the event and the location is easily accessible via convenient public transport links.

We Luv Festival will have family fun at heart, with a guests enjoying live music and street food stalls in a safe and relaxed environment. There will be numerous activities on offer during the two day event and the affordable tickets mean that family groups can enjoy the fun.

Guests will enjoy a unique day out which will focus on a fun and thrilling mixture of music performances and events alongside a selection of mouth-watering food. The scale of the festival will be something entirely new for Liverpool offering an event which will start the summer in style with a host of music stars performing across the course of two action packed days.
