Brett Gregory, screenwriter, director and co-producer at Serious Feather, is proud to announce the date of the premiere of his latest music documentary, ‘Liverpool: Beyond The Beatles’.
The film will launch on December 1st at Camp and Furnace on Greenland Street in Liverpool at 7pm.
The full-length feature explores and celebrates the dynamic contemporary music scene of Merseyside, grandstanding the fantastic work of many of the region’s stars of tomorrow, while also featuring in-depth interviews with some of the industry’s leading movers and shakers: Dave Pichilingi (CEO Liverpool Sound City), Kevin McManus (Liverpool Vision), Paul Du Noyer (Authour, Liverpool: A Wonderous Place), Mike Deane (Director Liverpool Music Week), Craig Pennington (Bido Lito!), Peter Guy (Getintothis & GIT Award), Dave Lloyd (Seven Streets), Dave McTague (Africa Oye & Mellowtone) and Liverpool band Stealing Sheep.
The third instalment in the Beyond Series, the documentary follows the internationally acclaimed ‘Iceland: Beyond Sigur Ros’ (2011) and ‘Manchester: Beyond Oasis’ (2012), and has taken 2 years to produce.
As Brett Gregory comments, ‘Without doubt, the production process since 2012 has been a genuine human odyssey: difficult and challenging, insightful and exhilarating – a life-changing experience. We are absolutely elated, and relieved, to be able to now, finally, present to the public what riches we have discovered.’
