Listen to the debut pop single from Liverpool songwriter KOVA Feat. Tom Anderson

‘You’ll Hear Me’ is the first pop Single release from Liverpool based songwriter-producer Kova (Reece Cairns), featuring singer/songwriter Tom Anderson. The debut Single follows the first official release from Kova, instrumental track ‘I Wanna Be’, released via Liverpool electronic-dance label Duo-tone.

Whilst studying at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), Kova developed himself as a songwriter whilst performing with electro-pop duo, HALEM, working closely with fellow songwriter Katy Alex (Katy Bryson).

Positive responses from HALEM’s debut self-titled EP (fully written by Cairns & Bryson) secured them a support slot with international chart topping artist in Liverpool and as well as receiving Radio 1 airplay. They also earned an award as “Top 20 Artists for 2016/17” by the Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF), where they played the Main Stage in July 2017, supporting headliners Gorgon City and Jax Jones.

Drawing a range of musical comparisons to Zara Larsson, Martin Garrix and Martin Solveig, Kova is actively working with up and coming pop artists in the North-West. ‘You’ll Hear Me’ is the second in a series of instrumental and collaborative pop tracks to be released by Kova.

‘You’ll Hear Me’ is also the first solo release from Tom Anderson. Formerly of indie band Venus Demilo, the Liverpool based vocalist is the latest addition to the Tri-Tone roster, working as an artist and producer. He has recently worked with LIMF graduate Gazelle on producing her new material with new music of his own in the works.
