The educational #FluxSkills events will give people of all ages an insight into arts careers and a chance to connect and learn with industry professionals from all over the UK. #FluxSkills sessions cover a topics include visual art and design, music, management and more.
These events include; Movemba Independent Skills (Dance & Arts) at Camp & Furnace (Blade Factory) on 25th July (Friday 25 July 10am – 4pm); Thinking of a career in dance and the arts? Movema share skills and experiences in dance, management and entrepreneurship with young people in dynamic and fun sessions which aim to inspire, upskill and get you ready to launch the next stage in your career.
Visual Arts & Design at Tate Liverpool 29th July (Tuesday 29 July 5pm – 7pm); Are you the next Stella McCartney or have you got your eye on the exhibition space at Tate Liverpool? This panel and talks brings some of the finest designers and artists in fashion, visual arts and design altogether for a whirlwind discussion bringing you top tips, industry routes and all the answers on how to take your experience to the next level.
Independent in the Arts at Camp and Furnace 28 July (Monday 28 July 5pm – 7pm); Calling all creative individuals wanting to achieve independence in the arts – want to know the secrets to success? Find out from the experts in this exclusive opportunity to question our panel of established artists, writers and musicians.
Stage & Screen at Everyman Theatre 2nd Aug (Saturday 02 August 12noon – 2pm); Want to a pursue a career in performing arts? Perhaps become an actor, director, casting agent in stage or screen? Well get down to the Everyman Theatre for an introduction to the finest in industry professionals to give you all the best tips of the trade.
