Exchanges Flags To Become An Open Air Theatre This Summer

Liverpool’s historic square, Exchange Flags, is to become an open air theatre over the summer hosting productions including The Lion King, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre and The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes from theatre production company Chapterhouse.

Theatre-goers will be encouraged to bring their own blankets, cushions and low-backed seating to enjoy the shows and to make the most of the scenic surroundings.

The events will come in time for the opening of the new Vincent Cafe & Cocktail Bar in the square which will join the likes of Fazenda and Gourmet Coffee.

Pride and Prejudice will be on August 8, with Sherlock Holmes on August 15, The Jungle Book on August 22 and finally Jane Eyre on September 5. For more information visit the official Chapterhouse Productions website here
