Deliah Release New Single ‘Waiting For The Rain’

RnB duo Deliah released their new track ‘Waiting For The Rain’ on Monday, tying in the release in conjunction with water charity Pump Aid.

Hailing from Liverpool, Deliah is fronted by lead singer Michelle Harris and instrumentalist Alex Dopierala. Having had previous releases premiered by Fortitude Magazine and GigSlutz, as well as being featured on The Only Way Is Essex and Hollyoaks, the new single, Waiting For The Rain, is out now, available on all platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.

Backed by their band, and as an acoustic duo, Deliah have supported the likes of GoGo Penguin, Ady Suleiman and, most impressively, Maverick Sabre on his Unplugged Tour

The band show they have a uniquely environmentally-conscious edge with their latest track which they have tied in with charity Pump Aid who supply pumps for fresh water to communities around Africa. The cause fits in well with the nature of the song and the gesture to promote awareness of the water charity in a nice touch.

The track boasts powerful vocals coupled with contemporary electronic beats which the duo have become known for. It’s another catchy soulful track from the LIPA graduates who have a bright future ahead of them.

Deliah have received critical acclaim for their live performances where their musical talents can really shine through and their latest offering will be a welcome addition to their setlist.

You can catch Deliah live at 24 Kitchen Street as part of Liverpool Noise’s Fundraising  event for homeless charity The Whitechapel Centre on Friday 7th July. Visit the Facebook event page here for more info.
