Broken Men Liverpool

Broken Men are one of the rising stars coming out of Liverpool at the moment. This is a band with the production value and sheer quality of those in the ever changing, big leagues. A well thought out and stylised approach to not only their music, but also their stage presence, has given Broken Men that certain undefinable edge.

Riffs that tear through the air and bass that breaks through your body tell of the unapologetic and undeniably impressive style Broken Men has to offer. On first listening to the band I have that familiar feeling of excitement that only comes with love at first listen. The passionate and tough vocals of the recently released track Hit Hard, will have you moving your goose bumped body. The track is filled with aggressive yet welcoming sounds, mirrored in the hard quality of the lyrics.

The band takes influences from grunge, garage, punk and soul, to name a few. A feeding frenzy of genres coupled with an impressive 10 piece line up make Broken Men a melting pot of energy, sweat and heart, all key ingredients in a major rock band. And it looks like that is where Broken Men are heading. 2013 saw them leave quite an impression on BBC Introducing and Europe, where they have drawn inspiration from in the past. A knock out year for any up and coming band, which has lit their road with, shall we say bright lights. After recently performing local shows in their home ground of Liverpool, who knows what is next for Broken Men. Keep an ear out for them.
